About Me

I am a doctoral postgraduate student in the Department of Philosophy at Durham University. I completed my undergraduate degree (BSc (hons) Natural Sciences) and Masters (MA History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine) at Durham before starting my PhD in April 2009.

PhD working title: Seeing and Believing: John Dalton and the Visual
Culture of Experimental Science in British Dissenting
Academies, 1770-1840.

My thesis is supervised by Dr Matthew D. Eddy and Dr Robin F. Hendry.
